MISSOULA — The Missoula City Council and the City Clerk’s Office are offering two new features for residents to better engage on local issues.

Council members will also consider a proposal Monday to move their regular meeting time to allow more time for the public to participate during meetings.

The City is offering a new eComment feature on meeting agendas published on their website.

Click on the "Open for Comment" link, select the agenda item of interest and fill in the form.

eComments are reviewed and published.

The council start taking eComments as soon as an agenda is published through the end of a meeting.

The Council agenda as well as the Committee Schedule with committee agendas are published Friday late afternoons or evenings for the following week.

City Council has set up a voicemail box for the public to leave voicemail messages. The phone number is 406-552-6012.

The voicemail messages will be delivered to all City Council members through their e-mail and are included in the daily e-mails posted on the Council's webpage.
