MISSOULA — Authorities are releasing the name of the man who died in a Monday afternoon motorcycle crash.
Missoula County Sheriff TJ McDermott says Ralph C. Powers, 68, died in the accident that happened on Monday afternoon on Frenchtown Frontage Road.
The Montana Highway Patrol previously told MTN News that the motorcyclist -- now identified as Powers -- collided with a car that was turning from Jenny Ann Court onto the Frenchtown Frontage Road.
The Sheriff's Office noted in a social media post, "it’s a busy time on Montana roadways, please remember to be safe out there. These crashes are so hard on everyone involved, especially and most importantly, the family."
