MISSOULA — Authorities have released the name of the man who passed away following after he was hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle near Rose Park in Missoula.
Missoula County Sheriff TJ McDermott has identified the victim as 62-year-old Richard Janousek of Missoula.
"Our heart-felt condolences go out to the family during this difficult time," the Sheriff's Office stated.
Missoula Police Department spokesman Sgt. Travis Welsh previously told MTN News that officers responded to the incident just after 10 p.m. on Feb. 12.
Officers responded to the report of an injury crash involving a vehicle and a man on a bicycle at the intersection of Stephens Avenue and East Bickford.
