MISSOULA — The United States District Court for the District of Montana swore in a new magistrate judge in Missoula on Friday.
Kathleen DeSoto will succeed retiring United States Magistrate Judge Jeremiah C. Lynch.
Donald Molloy recited the oath with Desoto in the Donald W. Molloy Courtroom at the Russell Smith Courthouse.
DeSoto was a partner at Garlington, Lohn & Robinson.
She now becomes the third magistrate judge to serve on a full-time basis in the Missoula federal court.
