MISSOULA — Labor Day marked the unofficial end of summer activities for many.

Chaz Harris says it was one of his last times getting out to float the river this year.

"Missoula in the summer's the best. I'm from California, and I can say that Missoula during the summer time is way more beautiful."

Harris also says he wants to take advantage of the nice weather while he can.

He wasn't the only one -- lots of families and college kids were on the Clark Fork on Monday.

Fishermen, floaters and rafters all enjoyed the sunshine and the water, before it gets cold and low.
