Two men died and another man was injured in a car crash Wednesday southeast of Culbertson.

The incident was reported to the Montana Highway Patrol at 1:44 p.m.

The MHP says a 2001 Honda S2000 was traveling north on Highway 16 near mile marker 4 when the driver lost control on the bridge deck, sliding across the road and striking a 2018 white Ford F150.

The driver of the Honda, an 18-year-old male from Emporium, Kansas, and the passenger, a 34-year-old man from Mexico, both died at the scene before troopers arrived.

The driver of the Ford, a 46-year-old Billings man, was transferred to Roosevelt County Medical Center before being airlifted to the Billings Clinic.

Wet, slushy roads and speed are possible factors in the crash, troopers said.

The names of the victims have not yet been released; we will update you if we get more information.
