HAVRE – All classes and activities at Havre High School have been canceled on Tuesday due to a threat.

A Havre High School staff member reported to the administration at 5:38 p.m. on Monday that a specific threat was written on the wall of the boys’ bathroom, according to the school’s website.

Law enforcement was immediately notified and is assisting in the investigation.

School officials stated that as a result of the threat, classes at Havre High School are canceled for Tuesday. All activities, clubs, and meetings have been canceled as well. No students will be allowed to enter the building.

Officials have not released any details concerning the exact nature of the threat. Classes are set to resume on Wednesday with safety measures in place.

Last week, police in Havre increased their presence at the high school due to a possible threat as a “cryptic message” was found written on the wall of a bathroom on Wednesday afternoon.

A similar incident in March 2018 also caused a brief evacuation of Havre Middle School.
