ND family of 4 killed in crash on 1-94 near Huntley

HUNTLEY – Carter County Sheriff Neil Kittlemann confirm Saturday, the family killed in a crash on eastbound Interstate 94, about six miles east of I-90, is the Dean family from North Dakota.

Anthony Dean and Chelsi Dean were traveling with their two children to spend Thanksgiving with Chelsi Dean’s grandmother.

Troopers say the crash happened on Thursday at 7 a.m. and the call came in at 8 pm on Friday.

A 2017 Toyota Forerunner went into the median, traveled between the eastbound and westbound bridge decks, hit a concrete support pillar and came to a stop in a creek.

The highway patrol reported a 25-year old man, a 25-year old woman, a 5-year old girl and a 1-year old girl were killed.

Speed is a factor and the road conditions unknown, according to the MHP.

BILLINGS – Four people were killed earlier this week near Huntley.

The Montana Highway Patrol reports the accident happened on Interstate 94 east about six miles east of I-90.

A 2017 Toyota Forerunner went into the median, traveled between the eastbound and westbound bridge decks, hit a concrete support pillar and came to a stop in a creek.

MHP reports a 25-year old man, a 25-year old woman, a 5-year old girl .and a 1-year old girl were killed. All of the victims were from Caldwell, Idaho.

Speed is a factor and the road conditions unknown, according to the MHP.
