BILLINGS – A Billings area man is dead after being hit by a car on Central Avenue at North 24th Street West.
Billings Police Sgt. Clyde Reid says that at around 8 p.m. on Saturday a man with dark clothing was crossing Central Avenue where there was not a designated crosswalk.
The minivan — with a family inside — was heading westbound when it hit the man on Central. Reid says when first-responders arrived at the scene, the man was unresponsive and CPR was attempted.
Reid says the identity of the man is known but can not be released at this time.
