BOZEMAN – A woman lost her life at a Bozeman ranch Thursday morning in a hay bale loading accident, according to the Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office.

Captain Jason Jarrett says the Sheriff’s Office received a call around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, reporting an incident at the Copper Spring Ranch in Bozeman.

Kelsey Driscoll, 30, was reportedly working alone loading bales of hay when some of the bales fell on her, pinning her between the bales and the bed of her truck.

Although no one was present when the accident occurred, after some of Driscoll’s co-workers could not reach her via phone, they found her deceased at the site where she was working.

Driscoll was originally from Spokane, Washington and had been living in Bozeman for the past year, according to Cpt. Jarrett.
