DILLON – The snow keeps falling in Southwest Montana causing lots of problems for drivers.

The Beaverhead County Sheriff’s Office is advising emergency travel only in the area.

The Montana Department of Transportation closed I-15 from Dillon to Monida Pass on Monday evening and there’s no word on when the road will reopen.

A severe winter storm has been bringing considerable areas of heavy snow and blowing and drifting snow across the area.

The Sheriff’s Office reports that other road closures due to blizzard-like conditions have been in effect for over 24 hours heading into Island Park, Idaho and include Montana Highway 87’s Raynolds Pass and US Highway 20’s Targhee Pass near West Yellowstone.
