BILLINGS – The American Red Cross of Montana opened a shelter in Hardin at the First United Methodist Church at 122 5th St. W. in response to flooding in Big Horn County.

According to a press release from American Red Cross of Montana, ice jams on the Little Big Horn River caused flooding at Crow Agency.

Several households have been evacuated.  As of 8 p.m. Saturday, ten people checked into the Hardin shelter.
