BUTTE — A 65-year-old man from Butte died after being hit by a pickup truck in Butte Tuesday afternoon.
Butte Sheriff Ed Lester said the man was struck by a pickup truck just after 4 p.m. while crossing Front Street at the intersection of Iowa Street.
The man was transported to St. James HealthCare, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver of the truck involved in the incident is a 54-year-old woman from Butte.
The incident remains under investigation.
Police have not released the identity of the victim pending notification of relatives.
