GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Children's Receiving Home is conducting its annual gift-wrapping fundraiser.

For more than 15 years now, the organization has hosted a gift-wrapping event to raise money for the youth they support, wrapping gifts at low cost.

Costs range from $3-$10, depending on the size of the gift: Small, $3; Medium, $5; Large, $7; Extra Large, $10

This year, the event is being held at Kaufman's Menswear at 411 Central Avenue.

  • December 10 through December 23: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • December 24: 10 a.m. through 4 p.m.

Children's Receiving Home board member Shawna Severson has volunteered to help wrap for the past several years and believes doing so makes a difference. “It's really important to have this home in this community. This is a way for you to give back to the community, while getting your presents wrapped, which is tough around the holidays to get in sometimes,” Severson said.

The mission of the Great Falls Children’s Receiving Home is to provide temporary shelter for abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless children. The Children’s Receiving Home will provide food, shelter, warmth, and understanding. It is an open door, and truly a home – not an institution.
