Live 2 Dance Studio in Great Falls helped young some Girl Scouts earn their dance badge Saturday, and owner Nicole Brian said she just wanted to help.

“Cause it’s fun like doing it. It’s an extra activity and its different because I get to teach them a class with everything in it instead of just ballet or just jazz or just tap,” said Brian.

The girls are taught steps to dance and self-discovery.

“Girl Scouts are about empowering our girls being better woman, better people in the community being active embracing themselves and learning how to be everything they can for everyone else. And how to be sisters and how to really embrace that fact and be that for other people as well," Troop Leader Heather Ashby said.

But the girls have their own reason for being a part of Girl Scouts. Aaliyah Becker and Heather Ashby said, “Earning badges" "Mine is just having fun.” And at the end of the day, all the girls did earn their dance badge.
