BUTTE - Butte Fire Chief Jeff Miller has confirmed to MTN News that the man rescued from a burning Butte home has died at St. James Healthcare.
The man was reportedly in his 50s and his name has not been released at this time.

A fire destroyed a home on Farrell Street in Butte Tuesday and left one man hospitalized.
The fire occurred to a home in the 1300 block of Farrell Street at about noon.
Firefighters removed a man who was found unconscious inside the residence and was transported to St. James Health Care.
His condition has not been released.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
