RED LODGE — A plane crash on the landing strip temporarily closed the Red Lodge Airport Friday afternoon, according to Red Lodge Fire Rescue.
The Carbon County Sheriff’s Office reports two people in the plane were taken to Beartooth Billings Clinic to be treated for minor injuries.
The Sheriff's Office, The Red Lodge police and fire departments are currently investigating the accident.
The airport was closed around 2:10 p.m. when the crash was reported so the landing strip could be cleared.
