The body of a woman was found Wednesday night outside of Laurel, Yellowstone County Sheriff Mike Linder said.

Authorities have not yet publicly released the identity of the body, nor confirmed whether it's related to a report of a missing person, Lori Bray.

Searchers were gathered Wednesday morning in Laurel on Buffalo Trail Road, in the area where Bray was last seen.

Linder did not identify where the body was found, but neighbors reported on social media seeing police vehicles gathered on Yard Office Road near the Ridge Drive intersection east of Laurel. That's a few miles away from the search.
