SULA — A man died after his vehicle crashed into a body of water near Sula last Thursday morning.
Montana Highway Patrol Sergeant Scott Bennet says 30-year-old Logan Robinson’s vehicle exited the roadway and traveled a decent length off-road until crashing into some water.
Because Robinson’s body was partially submerged for some time, it's been difficult for the coroner to determine a cause of death.
Bennet said MHP is still investigating the cause of the crash and is awaiting a toxicology report to help complete the investigation.
He says the vehicle and body were very difficult to get out of the water and he would like to thank Ravalli County Search and Rescue and the Darby Fire Department for their assistance in the extraction.
