HAMILTON — A work project is being planned for this weekend in the Bitterroot.

Bitter Root Back Country Horsemen (BRBCH) and the Bitterroot National Forest are partnering on a trail maintenance project this weekend.

The work will take place from Aug. 7 to Aug. 9 on the Darby/Sula Ranger District at Crazy Creek Horse Camp and Twogood Cabin.

Trailhead and horse camp maintenance will occur the first day.

Over the next two days, volunteers will be clearing the trail to the cabin along with surrounding trails.

Crews and stock will be camping at the Crazy Creek Horse Camp and Twogood cabin throughout the weekend.

The public should be on alert and watch out for volunteer work crews and stock at these locations.
