Power outage knocks out Sanders County 911 service

THOMPSON FALLS – A power outage has knocked out 911 service in northwest Montana.

The Sanders County Sheriff’s Office reports the outage has temporarily knocked out phone systems in the 911 Center.

There is no text service to 911 and all 911 calls are being rolled over to Lake County.

The Sheriff’s Office reports the problem is being worked on and they hope to be up and running soon.
