PABLO — Peak flu season is right around corner.
Tribal Health of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, in conjunction with Lake County Public Health and the Caring Foundation, is offering an opportunity for free flu vaccines on Wednesday.
The event takes place from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. on the campus of Salish Kootenai College, in the Joe McDonald Gym parking lot.
People can be vaccinated without leaving their vehicles. Those taking part simply need to fill out some paperwork, get vaccinated and then drive away. The first 600 Tribal Health patients will receive a $15 gas card. Please bring your insurance information.
Lake County Public Health will be available to vaccinate the general community. All out-of-pocket costs not covered by Tribal Health or insurance will be paid for by the Caring Foundation of Montana Care Van.
Anyone six months or older is welcome to take part on the event.
