PHILIPSBURG — The traditional Yule Night Activities and craft show may be canceled this year in Philipsburg, but the Light Parade has been saved.
At the last minute, Gem Mountain is putting together the parade, which will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday.
Organizers consulted with the Granite County Sheriff’s Office and business owners and it was decided that an outdoor event would be safe.
Walking entries need to gather at Bear Park by 6 p.m., while vehicles and floats will get ready at the Elementary School parking lot.
There is no entry fee to take part in the event.
The parade will start on College Street, pick up the walking entries behind the BiPlane, go by the nursing home and then end up at Granite Sportland.
