KALISPELL — Vice President of ‘Friends of the Library’ Roxie Lehl, presented Library Director, Connie Behe, with a donation of $11,000 this past week.
“We couldn’t do this without them,” Connie Behe said. “(We) are grateful for their tireless dedication and hard work.”
Every fall, the Friends of the Library holds their annual book sale at Kalispell Center Mall featuring thousands of donated books and media.
All of the funds gathered from the sale support ImagineIF early literacy classes, teen events and hands-on STEAM programs for K-6.
“The remarkable and generous support of the Friends of the Library demonstrates the community’s love of learning, personal connection and service to others,” said Behe.
The purpose of the Friends of the Library is to work for the benefit, improvement and welfare of ImagineIF Libraries, its collections, services and facilities. Visit their website for more information.
