MISSOULA — A trio of Western Montana ski areas are now open for the season.
Lookout Passopened up to the public on Saturday and with it brought the addition of the new Skytrac Quad lift. Twenty of the mountain’s runs were opened with 11 groomed and snow depth at the summit is 22”.
Montana Snowbowl also opened over the weekend for the first time this season and also has a new chair lift this season. Snowbowl says they have received about 16” of new snow and about 25% of the mountain is open.
Lost Trail also opened this weekend and will open again on Dec. 18.
