Motorcyclist killed in Opportunity crash

OPPORTUNITY — A 46-year-old man died early Tuesday morning after a motorcycle crash in Opportunity.

According to Anaconda Police Chief Tim Barkell, the crash was reported at approximately 1:40 a.m.

Barkell said the rider reportedly lost control on White Street, went off the road and crashed into a nearby creek.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name and hometown have not been released.

The Montana Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.
