STEVENSVILLE — A confirmed COVID-19 case has been reported in the Stevensville Public Schools District, prompting leaders to close the school Wednesday afternoon and convert to distance learning immediately.

Stevensville Public Schools Superintendent Robert Moore states in a letter that the District was notified today Wednesday by Ravalli County Public Health that a student tested positive for COVID-19.

The student last attended classes in-person on Tuesday. All students will convert to distance learning beginning on Thursday.

There is an emergency Stevensville School Board meeting tonight at 7 p.m. via Zoom. That information is on the school's website.
