MISSOULA — More than 225 businesses in Montana received loans under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) valued at more than $1 million, according to data released this week by the Small Business Administration.

Ten Montana companies received loans ranging from $5 million to $10 million, including Consumer Direct Holdings and Western Montana Mental Health, both in Missoula.

Richard Anderson construction in Helena; CTA Architects in Billings; Better Business Systems in Billings; Mann Mortgage in Kalispell; Morrison-Maierle of Helena; Zoot Enterprises of Bozeman; and the Sidney Health Center also received loans ranging from $5 million to $10 million.

The SBA and the U.S. Treasury Department released loan-level data covering 660,000 loans on Monday, offering what several lawmakers described as transparency over one of the largest stimulus programs in U.S. History.

The data was broken out between businesses that received loans over $1 million and those that received loans under that value.

In Missoula, a total of 29 companies received loans valued at more than $1 million.
