MISSOULA — Safe Kids Missoula brought safety information to parents with the help of local law enforcement experts on Sunday.

Booths about medicine, home safety, and outdoor recreation info were available, all with fun activities for the kids. Children also got to climb in fire trucks and ambulances.

The Missoula County DUI Task Force brought out their new arrive alive tour, so older kids could simulate drunk driving.

Organizer Kira Huck says it's important for kids to learn how to prevent accidents.

"I mean, I think we all know someone in our life who has been injured by a car crash, or maybe even a traumatic brain injury," Huck said.

"So, I think these types of injuries touch all of us in different ways, and is something we've all seen and we all see daily," she added.

LifeFlight made a special landing, and the fire department's smoke safety trailer showed people how to prevent fires.

The fair has been going on for the past 20 years in Missoula.
