HAMILTON — Changes are coming to the number of fans who can attend sporting events in Hamilton.

The Hamilton School District is adjusting its spectator policy to comply with Montana High School Association's (MHSA) postseason guidelines, effective immediately due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Ravalli County.

For the remainder of the Fall season, home team spectators will be limited to the following:

  • 6 spectator tickets per uniformed athlete
  • 2 spectator tickets per coach
  • 2 spectator tickets per cheerleader

It should be noted that due to MHSA guidelines, “general admission” tickets will no longer be available.

District spokeswoman Justine Stewart notes that the current visiting team spectator policy will remain in effect until the postseason begins.

Once that happens tickets will be distributed equally among the home and visiting teams as per MHSA policy.
