The Montana State Bobcats and Montana Grizzlies continue to inch up the FCS top 25 polls. The latest editions of both rankings -- the FCS coaches' poll and the STATS FCS poll -- were released Monday.

In the STATS poll, the Bobcats (3-1) moved up to seventh from last week's No. 8 ranking. Montana State closed out its non-conference schedule with a 56-21 win over Norfolk State at Bobcat Stadium on Saturday. Three MSU ball-carriers -- Logan Jones, Shane Perry and Lane Sumner -- eclipsed 100 rushing yards in the game. In the coaches' poll, Montana State is ranked 11th this week, up from last week's ranking of 14th.

Montana, meanwhile, is 17th in the coaches' poll and 18th in the STATS rankings. The Grizzlies (3-1) were ranked 19th in both polls last week.

Dalton Sneed and Malik Flowers were named the Big Sky Conference offensive and special teams players of the week after the Grizzlies stormed past Monmouth 47-27 at Washington-Grizzly Stadium on Saturday.

North Dakota State, which defeated Big Sky Conference foe UC Davis last weekend, maintained its hold on the No. 1 ranking in both polls. James Madison and South Dakota State complete the top three in both polls. UC Davis and Weber State are fourth and fifth in the STATS ranking, while Kennesaw State and UC Davis are fourth and fifth in the coaches' poll.

Both polls can be viewed in their entirety here .

Five Big Sky Conference teams are ranked by the coaches -- UC Davis at No. 5, Weber State at No. 6, Montana State at No. 11, Montana at No. 17 and Eastern Washington at No. 21. Northern Arizona also received votes in the coaches' poll.

The STATS top 25 includes the same five Big Sky teams as the coaches' poll but also includes Idaho, Sacramento State, Northern Arizona and Idaho State in the receiving votes category.
