MISSOULA — A man who is in the Missoula County Jail is facing multiple charges after resisting arrest and assaulting a Montana Highway Patrol Sergeant.

Sergeant Novak from the Montana Highway Patrol made contact with Larry Dennison, 50, at around 7 p.m. Friday near the Lithia dealership on Expressway after Dennison had committed a moving violation.

Dennison was taken into custody with no injury but MHP Captain James Kitchen says there was a scuffle between Dennison and law enforcement.
