MISSOULA — The man accused of lighting a bank ATM on fire, causing it to explode, changed his plea in federal court Thursday.
Guy Culligan, 57, of Bonner changed his plea to guilty for pouring gasoline on the ATM at First Security Bank near Broadway and Madison streets in Missoula.
No injuries were reported in the incident, but the ATM was heavily damaged.
In court, lawyers summarized a plea deal and Culligan was ordered to remain in custody.
His sentencing was set for June 14, 2020.
