MISSOULA — Our forecast has been very similar these last few days, and we can expect much of the same tomorrow, too.

The only difference comes when we talk about daytime highs.

Tomorrow’s highs take another leap up into the upper 80s and a few local low 90s are possible.

Thursday still plays out to be the warmest day of the week.

The weekend will be just at or just below average.

This means temperatures will top out in the mid to low 80s from Friday through Sunday.

Showers will be possible as a trough starts to dig into the northwest corner during the weekend.

These isolated showers will not washout any weekend plans, but the northwest should keep an eye on the radar for isolated thunderstorms that pop up during the afternoon hours.

Other than that, the rest of us stay mild and dry.

Next week, another dry spell takes place and dry air and hotter temperatures are expected to bring us into next weekend.

This means fire danger remains on the rise in our area, and it will be a good idea to be extra cautious outside over the next few weeks.
