Big changes in store tomorrow

MISSOULA — Hopefully you were able to enjoy one last day of warmer weather and sunny skies.

A big change moves into the forecast tonight for the south and west and tomorrow for all of Western Montana.

A low pressure system brings in scattered showers from the southwest late tonight/early tomorrow morning, but by tomorrow afternoon, all of Western Montana will see rain.

Rain will continue to fall off and on throughout Friday afternoon and evening.

Temperatures will be much cooler to end the work week, and we can expect tomorrow’s highs to be in the upper 60s and low 70s.

For the big game in Missoula on Saturday, the good news is that the rain will clear out by game time.

Temperatures Saturday will still be in the upper 70s and low 80s.

Expect this to only be a very quick warmup, because Saturday another Pacific system moves in and a trough develops across the Treasure State.

Rain becomes scattered once again on Saturday morning, and temperatures take another drop into the 60s and low 70s.

This will be the start of a rainy and much cooler week heading into Monday.
