MISSOULA — A few isolated showers are still falling across the Southwest part of the state.

Snow stays to upper elevations and rain will fall in valleys under these showers.

Clouds move out later tonight.

The northwest will clear from clouds first before the rest of west-central and southwest Montana follow.

Lows tonight take a drop with these clear conditions.

Temperatures drop to the mid to upper 20s.

Tomorrow skies stay mostly clear.

Highs continue to rise, and we top out in the mid to low 50s.

Showers return to the forecast late Thursday evening.

Our next system will bring scattered showers through Friday.

Snow is expected to stay in upper elevations, but snow levels will be low enough to affect passes once again.

Showers move out early Saturday morning.

We usually are topping out in the low 60s this time of year.

Temperatures will remain below average through this week, and especially as that next system moves through towards the end of the weekend.

Near-normal highs finally return to the forecast early next week.
