MISSOULA — Rain moves into Western Montana over the late afternoon and evenings hours.
Some isolated storms will also be possible mostly around the southwest.
These are not likely to be severe, but we could see some gusty outflow wind and frequent lightning from afternoon storms.
Showers start to move out during the early morning hours tomorrow, but a second round of isolated showers moves through tomorrow during the early afternoon hours.
Expect to start drying out as we head into Friday afternoon and evening.
Dry air, warm temperatures, and sunny skies will take us through Labor Day weekend!
We do track an upcoming break down in the ridge that will keep us dry over the weekend.
The break down will start occurring Monday night into Tuesday.
Models are still split to the exact timing of the breakdown and if/when moisture will move back in from the west.
We will continue to keep you up-to-date as we see more agreeance of models through the weekend.
