MISSOULA — A few clouds continue passing by this afternoon but start clearing out through the evening.

Even though highs hit the mid to upper 50s today, a slight breeze made things feel a bit cooler out there today.

Gusts were anywhere between 20-35 MPH across Western Montana this afternoon.

Tomorrow a ridge of high pressure strengthens over our area. This means less wind and even more sunshine.

We are back in the mid to upper 50s tomorrow and even hit the mid 60s by Thursday and Friday.

The best chances for a bluebird day, or nearly- bluebird day, will be Thursday when that ridge is strongest.

As the ridge collapses Friday, we will see more moisture and cooler air being pulled in from the northwest.

Friday afternoon remains sunny and calm, but Friday evening is when we see moisture move back in.

Rain settles in Friday night, and a wintry mix is expected early Saturday morning.

We drop from the 60s Friday to the mid to low 40s Saturday and Sunday.
