MISSOULA — Hot, sunny and dry weather will be moving into the forecast to end the week and continue through the weekend.

Heat Advisories start at noon Thursday afternoon and continue through 8 pm Friday. Expect highs to range from the low 90s to low 100s across western Montana.

This hot weather will continue through the weekend as highs remain anywhere from 10-15 degrees above normal.

Overall expect dry conditions well into next week. Some models are showing the slight chance for a few isolated thunderstorms to develop Friday, Saturday and Sunday. However, if these storms pop up, they will be extremely isolated and mostly occur in the mountains of southwest Montana.

The 90s remain in the forecast Monday. A cooler weather pattern will then set up Tuesday and Wednesday of next week as a dry cold front moves through. This will bring the first relief from the heat as highs drop back into the low to middle 80s.
