MISSOULA — A few off and on rain and snow showers will remain in the forecast Monday. Most of those will be found this afternoon in west-central and southwest Montana. Expect highs Monday to top out in the 40's with mostly cloudy skies overhead.

Partly sunny skies and cold temperatures will again be in the forecast Tuesday. Lows Tuesday morning will drop into the 20's across western Montana with highs again in the 40's.

High pressure will settle over the northern Rockies Wednesday and Thursday. Expect high temperatures to top out in the middle and upper 50's with sunny skies overhead.

Our next weather system moves in Friday. This will bring another round of light snow to the mountains with scattered rain showers expected for the valleys.

A quick look at next weekend shows Friday's system quickly moving out. This will lead to an overall dry weekend with temperatures topping out in the 50's.
