MISSOULA — A ridge of high pressure will be the main force behind our weather for roughly the next 7-10 days.
Expect mild and dry weather today and Wednesday with highs in the 40s and 50s.
The longer the ridge sticks around, the better chance for valley inversions to set up. These inversions do look likely by Thursday with cooler air, low lying clouds and fog setting up in the valleys.
This trend will continue into the weekend and even into the start of next week.
