MISSOULA — Expect a mix of sun and clouds Tuesday with highs topping out in the middle to upper 50's. Breezy winds will develop for west-central and northwest Montana by the afternoon with gusts around 25-35 mph.
Expect sunny skies with above average temperatures Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will be in the upper 50's to low 60's Wednesday and low to upper 60's Thursday.
Friday will remain mild with temperatures again in the 60's. Increasing clouds along with scattered showers will develop Friday afternoon as a strong cold front brings big changes for the weekend.
With the weekend system still several days out exact details are still uncertain. However, the basic outline has a cold front bringing rain and snow showers Friday night into Saturday. High temperatures will drop from the 60's Friday into the 40's Saturday. Temperatures will be even cooler Sunday with highs topping out in the upper 30's to middle 40's.
