MISSOULA — Overall looking at another nice day Wednesday with highs remaining in the 50s to low 60s. A few scattered showers will be possible today, however, these will primarily be found in northwest Montana and remain very light.

Showers will become much more widespread across northwest Montana Thursday. Breezy winds will develop as well with gusts of 30-40 mph possible.

West-central and southwest Montana will see a few more clouds but overall should remain dry Thursday with highs remaining in the 50s to low 60s. It could be a bit breezy as well with gusts around 20-25 mph.

The cool down we have been talking about all week is still expected by this weekend, however, recent models have slowed the timing of the incoming system. Good news with this, warmer weather will be able to hang on for a bit longer.

Highs Friday will top out in the 40s to low 50s with just a few valley rain showers and mountain snow. Once again, these will primarily be found in northwest Montana.

Temperatures will continue to fall into the weekend with highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s Saturday and 20s to low 30s Sunday.
