MISSOULA — Nice weather continues this week. A mix of sun and clouds along with 70 degree temperatures remain in the forecast Wednesday and Thursday across western Montana.
Friday will be the warmest day of the week as highs reach the middle 70's to middle 80's. Clouds will be increasing Friday as our next weather system approaches.
The latest model runs have a deep low pressure system moving on shore from the Pacific Ocean Friday night into Saturday. This low pressure looks to bring widespread rain showers and thunderstorms to the northern Rockies through the day Saturday. High temperatures Saturday will be in the upper 60's to low 70's.
As the low pressure continues to move through, rain showers and cooler temperatures are in the forecast to start next week. Expect highs in the 50's to low 60's Sunday and low to mid 50's Monday with rain showers and a few thunderstorms possible as well.
