MISSOULA — A very quiet and pleasant weather week is ahead of us. High temperatures Monday will be running about 10 degrees below average with highs in the low to middle 70's.
The Comet NEOWISE will now be visible about an hour after sunset! Look to the northwest below the Big Dipper just above the horizon. The comet will continue to be visible through July 23 as it rises higher and higher in the sky. Remember, the comet will look more like a star to the naked eye, so grab those binoculars before you head out!
Temperatures will slowly warm through the week with highs reaching the low to upper 80's by Thursday.
Temperatures then look to cool a bit by next weekend as models are hinting at a weak low pressure system moving through the northern Rockies. This will drop temperatures into the 70's to low 80's along with bringing chances of rain back to the forecast. However, as this is still about a week out confidence is low on timing and intensity.
