MISSOULA — Scattered thunderstorms are developing across southwest Montana this afternoon. Some storms are capable of producing hail, gusty winds and heavy rain. These storms will start to come to an end this evening leading to clear skies.

West-central and northwest Montana will stay dry this evening with clear skies and nice temperatures.

Dry weather will set up Sunday and Monday across western Montana. Highs will be in the 70's to low 80's with mostly sunny skies.

Our next weather system will bring chances of rain showers and thunderstorms back to the forecast Tuesday as a weak cold front moves through the region.

After this front moves through, nice, sunny and dry weather is expected through the rest of the week with highs remaining in the 70's to low 80's.
