MISSOULA — A few in northwest Montana are waking up to light snow this morning, while the rest of the area is waking up to overcast and breezy conditions.
Temperatures will be warmer than yesterday area-wide with breezy conditions at times, with our next weather disturbance moving in tonight.
Snow will then move into west-central and southwest Montana Thursday night. An inch or two of snow will be possible for all valleys waking up Friday morning with anywhere from 2"-to-5" for the mountains.
The snow will come to an end by sunrise Friday and the rest of the day will then see a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures in the low to middle 30's.
High pressure will start to build this weekend and continue through the beginning of next week, leading to a milder and drier weather pattern.
Highs will be in the low to middle 30's Saturday, then warm into the upper 30's to middle 40's Sunday and those temperatures will continue into next week.
