MISSOULA — Snow bands will be possible for west-central and southwest Montana Monday morning. Much like what we saw this weekend, those falling under these snow bands will see heavy snow and reduced visibility. Snow showers will come to end by mid to late morning.

Temperatures today will top out only in the teens across northwest Montana. Expect 20s to low 30s for west-central and southwest Montana.

Temperatures will continue to drop through out the week as very cold arctic air moves in from Canada.

The coldest air will move in by Thursday and Friday of this week. High temperatures across western Montana will be below 0° or in the singe digits. With low temperatures falling well below zero. Wind chill values could range from 20-40 degrees below zero.

Temperatures look to slowly warm for the weekend, however, still remain cold. Highs will be in the teens Saturday and low 20s Sunday.
