MISSOULA — Temperatures will be slow to warm under a clear, blue sky on Monday, but we’ll eventually see a push into the lower to middle 40s by the afternoon hours. Any breeze will be very light. The afternoon hours should be nice for a walk, run, or hike.

Tuesday is shaping up to be a beautiful mid-March day. We’ll see a sunny sky from start to finish with highs warming into the upper 40s to lower 50s.

The best, and really only chance of receiving any precipitation this week will come on Wednesday, especially early in the day. A weak cold front will traverse the area bringing more clouds than sun and a small chance of showers from Missoula southward.

Thursday and Friday will bring a mix of sun and clouds highs ranging from the 40s. We’ll see lows in the 20s areawide. Next weekend is shaping up to be very nice with a mostly sunny to partly cloudy sky and highs in the lower to middle 50s.
