Job Description:
KPAX-TV is looking for a Weekend Anchor/Producer in beautiful and bustling Missoula, Montana.
The ideal candidate can capably anchor and produce weekend news programs, and manage a staff of MMJ’s to cover weekend news. Three days per week you will be expected to generate your own story ideas, as well as reporting and covering live, breaking news as an MMJ.
You must understand and incorporate social media material into your workflow on every front – from reporting to producing to promoting in real time.
We’re looking for a team player who can edit video and meet all deadlines as assigned by a manager. Ability to work under tight deadlines on a flexible schedule is a must.
A Bachelor`s Degree in Broadcast Journalism or equivalent is required. Two years of television broadcasting experience is preferred, but not required. A valid driver`s license is required.
